This message is mostly to denote that my current laptop is crumbling into dried poop, basically, and that a new one should be arriving tomorrow, but that it usually takes me a day or so to get a new machine up to speed, and it may be worse this time because I haven't been able to reliably produce work on this one since last week, so I'm a little behind, and thank god San Diego Comic-Con is this week, because at least one of the people expecting said work is there, and he's now going to be too busy wiping Browncoat spunk off his shoes to say "hey weren't you supposed to be writing that thing you horrible person so," which is fair because I am a horrible person and I was also kind of supposed to be writing that thing, and also a novel, and also rewriting a pitch document's character arcs, and a few other things too, but once I have this new laptop, provided it actually bloody works and isn't a lemon like this one, I will be able to get organised, start working again, and also move towards The Plan of getting this newsletter weekly and then twice a week as we slide into autumn, which will be climatologically indivisible from summer, as I look up again to see another Warning Of Catastrophic Witchrain Of Death and also note that once again it's barely above fifty degrees F and FUCKING SUMMER HELLO DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS only I couldn't actually yell that just kind of hiss it through the fucking gills I have had to grow in order to survive summer in this bloody country though I WILL learn how to spit poison blowdarts from said gills if one more person asks me "are you going to the Olympics" because ONE no because I am a human being with dignity and a job and TWO did you know the Ministry Of Defense are working to mount surface-to-air missiles on cheap social housing (that are already susceptible to environmental difficulties like FIRE) in the East London area which will have two effects in the event of use ONE turning any struck target into a bloom of burning shrapnel expanding over East London at MACH 1 and TWO torching the buildings they're fired from and did I mention those buildings are cheap and full of people and catch fire every now and then YES i think I did because I am Right in all things and also I have a medal.
